Release Notes: May 2020 (v7.11)

Crew v7.11 comes loaded with new features and an improved experience, all based on your feedback.

WHAT’S NEW:

  • Support for new languages. Crew now supports French (CA), German, Italian, and Spanish (MX).
  • Threaded conversations. Create conversation threads by responding to individual messages within a conversation. (Limited Release)
  • Shift coverage enhancements. Covering shifts is now even easier with a built-in quick view of your upcoming shifts.

Release Notes: April 2020 (v7.10)

Crew v7.10 brings big improvements for large enterprise organizations and their frontline team members. Thank you for the work you’re doing to keep us safe and healthy at this crucial time.

WHAT’S NEW:

  • Enterprise organizations can now require that employees confirm they have read announcements sent using Broadcast in Command Center. We hope this helps streamline communications like safety checks and policy changes. (Limited release)
  • In Command Center, enterprises can now create custom, pre-written recognition reasons for employees to select when awarding Gold Stars. (Limited release)
  • Messages sent with links will show preview images and title content (if the link supports it).
  • We’ve made a number of improvements to the experience on iPad and macOS to support Apple’s powerful new operating systems.

Crew v7.5 brings full support for iOS 13 the new iPad OS.

NEW FEATURES:

  • Multi-Window Support: Open Crew in two side-by-side windows on your iPad, to cut down on switching between screens.
  • Context Menus: Do more with fewer taps. Long press to see a handy menu of quick actions like archive, mute, call, and more.
  • Drawing & Annotation: Quickly mark up images or documents and share them with your team using Apple Pencil or simply your finger.
  • Dark Mode: Crew’s dark mode has been enhanced to work with the native dark mode functionality in iOS and iPad OS. Stay connected to your team around the clock with a theme that’s easy on the eyes in low light.

  • Gold Star Leaderboard — Admin Filter. Now you can filter the Gold Star leaderboard to see only Gold Stars awarded by your org admin. 
NEW INTEGRATIONS:
  • UltiPro. Integrate with UltiPro for rostering to make sure your team on Crew is always accurate and up-to-date with the current employees.
  • Ximble. Integrate with Ximble for rostering and scheduling to make sure your employee roster and shift schedule is always up to date in Crew.

  • User Blocking. Block users from sending you messages when you’d prefer not to hear from them. (Limited release.)
  • User Suspension. Admins can temporarily suspend disruptive users to keep conversations productive. (Limited release.)
